Therefore the IvyPrep SAT preparation course is designed to build up the necessary content knowledge, master the strategies and encourage students to use “analytical” approach. Analytical approachThe most common complaint we hear from students is “this question was too difficult; I did not know where to start”. Other companies will try to tackle difficult question with tricks, which just tend to confuse students. IvyPrep teaches students to use an “analytical approach”, which is based on real skills needed for SAT preparation. These skills include “step by step” problem solving, text analyses, memorization techniques, and effective study schedule. ContentIvyPrep curriculum covers in depth all the content areas tested on SAT. Students are given specific assignments to reinforce and test concepts covered in class. IvyPrep curriculum also addresses a number of advanced SAT problems.Strategy SAT is a standardized exam; which means that certain types of questions consistently appear on the exam. IvyPrep carefully selects in-class problems to accurately represent all different types of questions tested on SAT. Such questions and respective strategies are at the core of our SAT preparation classes.
